CONTRIBUTE TO THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE GAME
Your help expands women's access to golf, and ensures women's engagement at the highest levels of decision making. Our groundbreaking GEM program, as well as memberships in national and international golf organizations, provides an opportunity for women to contribute to the industry's initiatives to expand the overall diversity of those engaged in golf.
EDUCATE NEW AND EXPERIENCED GOLFERS
Funds for Adult Player Development are used for Golf 101 and 201 programs,
which get new and out-of-practice golfers engaged in the game and teaches them
everything from how to grip a club to how to join a league.
Golfers with more experience can take Rules and Handicap seminars to expand
both their knowledge and enjoyment of the game.
DEVELOP JUNIOR GOLFERS
Donations make it possible for high school girls' teams around the state
to get the equipment and training they need to be successful,
and provide resources to Arizona's numerous junior programs like
LPGA*USGA Girls Golf, the JGAA, the First Tee, the Arizona
Silver Belle Championship, and Arizona's Girls Junior Americas Cup Team.
RECRUIT & TRAIN VOLUNTEERS
|Recruiting and training volunteers – who give over 20,000 hours
annually to state, |
regional and national events – is critical to golf's success. Volunteers handle
everything from officiating, scoring and registration to administering handicaps and
operating ladies' leagues. They rate courses, support outreach efforts, run
tournaments, and preside over both local and national Boards of Directors.
CREATE GOLF EVENTS FOR ALL SKILL LEVELS
You make it possible for us to offer events for every level of golfer,
from casual players to highly ranked amateurs. Tournaments are often flighted
so that Championship golfers and those with higher handicaps can all
participate, have fun, and succeed.
