| The AWGA Golf Performance Series is a new program being piloted in the fall of 2011. Our goal with the program is to provide, in a group setting, an introduction to various teaching theories and methodologies, enabling you to “try before you buy” in finding teachers and techniques that work for you to improve your golf game.
These sessions will feature the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Assessment for Golfers. This methodology is based on a physical assessment of your mobility, stability, and golf swing. The testing protocol was developed by physical therapists, professional golfers, chiropractors, professional trainers and other medical professionals. The improvement regimen is based on the theory of fitness first.
The program will last three hours, during which participants will get to experience the basics of the assessment process and get immediate verbal feedback on the most significant weaknesses in each area assessed. Those who choose to purchase a more complete report of the assessment done during the session may do so at an additional charge.

Fitness Mindi Boysen is the owner of "Fit For Golf! Fit For Life!", a Phoenix based company which expands globally. She is an Arizona Women's Golf Association Official Fitness Partner with over 18 years of experience in the golf and fitness industry. From players on the PGA Tour to recreational golfers, she teaches fitness techniques designed to improve both a player's golf game and overall health. Her format includes the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) screening techniques, strengthening and flexibility exercises, balance and stability movement reinforcement, and mental/nutrition focus. Utilizing her B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from Indiana University of PA and Level III Junior Player Development certification through TPI, Mindi helps junior golfers establish a fundamental base and athletic foundation to aid in their golfing for years to come.

Medical Dr. Debra Pentz is a Titleist Performance Institute Level III Medical Professional. She has been owner of a private Chiropractic and Physical Therapy Practice in Mesa, AZ since 1999. She is an active golf member at Red Mountain Ranch Golf Club since 2002 and uses her own experiences with golf to help her patients. Debra achieved her Doctor of Chiropractic at Cleveland Chiropractic College of Kansas City. She was her class valedictorian and went on for Postgraduate work in nutrition. Always yearning to learn more to help other people, Deb not only received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Business Administration at York college of Pennsylvania, she also fulfilled her teaching degree in Education at Lock Haven University.

Though she started playing golf later in her adult life, she has already competed professionally in the Players' West Mini-Tour. She thoroughly enjoys training all levels of golfers including new golfer basics, intermediate golfer development or advanced techniques. She added the Titlieist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor to her credentials and went through all three levels for golf professionals. Peggy taught 4 years for the John Jacobs Golf Schools and has utilized methods learned from Manuel de la Torre Golf Seminars, Vision 54 Coach Seminars and LPGA Golf Clinics for Women Instructors.
