Player Development Programs
| The AWGA hosts and presents player development programs including programs for adults and juniors. Adult programs include beginner lessons, fun non-competitive golf events and tournaments. These programs are designed enable a woman to play golf at whatever level she chooses, from never having touched a club, to playing in the competitive environment of a state championship, or anywhere in between. Junior programs include the Build a TEAM program to foster the development of Arizona high school girls' golf teams; and Arizona junior girls programs. These programs support junior golfers at every level. Some are designed to introduce non-golfing juniors to the game. Some give the juniors a competitive opportunity, which may lead to national competition and college scholarships.
