| Under the USGA regulations, the AWGA provides USGA Rules of Golf and Handicap certification seminars to educate members on the Rules of Golf and the Handicap system. The Rules of Golf seminar is presented in the morning 9:00am to 12:00pm. The Handicap Certification seminar is presented in the afternoon 1:00pm to 4:00pm. You can attended each of the seminars separately for $25 or go for the full day for $40. Lunch is served from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Materials are included in each of the seminars. The Rules of Golf Seminar is designed to be a brief overview of the Rules of Golf, with a focus on the most commonly used rules. This seminar is best suited for those looking to learn the rules; and for those looking to enhance/refresh their general knowledge of the Rules of Golf. The Handicap Seminar educates you on the handicap system and how a handicap index is calculated. At the end of the seminar there is a quiz, open book, open note, to take in order to become Handicap certified for your club/league.
